Handmade by artisans in Transylvania, Romania. The collective that manufactures these towels works to preserve traditional Romanian handicrafts while providing jobs for women that allow them to stay home and raise their children.

Vintage fabric of 80% hemp and 20% cotton. The materials used in these towels were organically grown on family farms, then harvested, processed and spun by hand.

These towels are beautifully simple: the natural vintage linen features rustic hand-stitched stripes at either end. Stripes come in four colors; select yours from the pull-down menu, below.
They're also a pleasure to use: the natural vintage linen become very soft and absorbent after a few washes, and they dry quickly.
Towels are priced individually. Please note that due to their handmade nature, some variation is natural.

Machine wash in warm water with like colors using a mild biodegradable detergent. Hang or lay flat to dry. Iron as needed.
