Cups are made from paper (wood pulp) and coated with Ingeo™ polymers (naturally derived biodegradable plastic). Lids are made from PLA (polylactic acid, or Polylactide), a polymer that comes from corn and other 100% renewable resources. These products are 100% biodegradable and commercially compostable.

These cups look and feel a lot like their standard counterparts, but with two big differences: they're made entirely from renewable resources, and they're fully biodegradable and compostable. (Traditional disposable paper cups are lined with a thin oil-based plastic coating that prevents them from leaking. Unfortunately, this plastic coating also prevents them from completely breaking down in compost.)
Planet+ Cups are BPI (Biodegradable Products Institute) certified to break down within 90-120 days in a commercial composting facility.
These cups feature the Planet+ logo, and a line that reads "All green, all the time."
These cups are suitable for either hot or cold beverages. They're sold in sleeves of 50 cups OR in cases of 1,000 pieces. (Some sizes are available by the case only). Please select your choice from the pull-down menu below.
