The White color in Coyuchi duvet covers is achieved by treating the cotton with hydrogen peroxide, a benign bleaching agent that breaks down into hydrogen and water.
Coyuchi's Ivory-colored sheets are the most minimally-processed: the only treatment they receive is the washing out of the wheat starch (sizing) after weaving.
care:
This cotton duvet cover is machine washable. Coyuchi recommends using warm water and non-phosphate soap in the washing cycle, with a cool tumble or line-dry. The use of bleaching agents is not recommended, as whiteners may diminish the brilliance and depth of the colors.
