We love these lamps for the way they add warmth to the glow of a compact fluorescent bulb. The shade panels are custom-fabricated of laminated bamboo strips, and highlight the unique characteristics of the bamboo end-grain. (See the closeup image of the grain at left.)
The innovative design of these lamps combines sustainable materials with an energy-efficient light source. The shade panels pop into the bamboo frame without the use of fasteners or glue. This clever design permits the lamp to be shipped flat so as to minimize packaging.
The Moso pendant lamp is available in two sizes, and two wiring options: the hardwire model includes a fixture with 6' of white cord, a ceiling canopy (5" diam.) and installation hardware. The plug-in model includes a fixture with 15' white cord, inline switch, molded plug and ceiling mount hardware.
